Jennifer
Sense Tu

A little bit of history...

Andorra also made their debut entry in 2004 but their luck hasn't been great.  Marta Roure (2004) could only notch up 12 points, and 18th position out of 22.  A year later Ducth born Marian Van De Wal couldn't do much better, managing 27 points and 23rd place out of 25.  So are Andorra's fortuntes due to change?

Singer & Song
Jennifer Sense Tu

Andorra are definately entering a better song than they've managed over the past two years, and I would suggest that it is good enough to make the final.  Jennifer seems a classy and polished performer and the song is a classy number that she sings very well.  Out of the last three years, Andorra surely stand their best chance ot making the Final, but it will all depend on the competition on the night...

Prediction
Might qualify: 10th-16th

It really is a hard one to call.  I really like this, it's catchy and classy, but they have a really poor draw coming up 4th in the running order, sandwiched between many mediocre songs.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Andorra qualify, but then I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.  Surely they'll do better than they have done on their previous two occasions, though.

Prediction after the Semi-Final

After a mediocre performance, Andorra failed to qualify.

Review of the Eurovision Performance

This certainly was one of the worst performances of the night, and with a measly 8 points (all from Spain) Andorra managed last place.  The performance was flawed with a not-so-great vocal and a hideous stage performance from the dancers.  Jenny would have been much, much better off singing on her own than with those awful looking lingerie laden drag queens from the Moulin Rouge.  They were ugly, horribly dressed (neither sexy, nor classy) and the routine was awful.  Jenny's vocal wasn't great either, but once she warmed up the song started to sound good.  As for my prediction, I was very optimistic about this, suggesting it had a chance of qualification, but after what's happened I was clearly very wrong.  I still think the song is great, and had it have been performed better would have made a bigger impact on Europe, but after having not even getting the 12 from Spain as they usually do, you could say that 8 points is a heck of a whole lot more than Andorra deserved for this.
