A little bit of history...
This is only Moldova's second year at Eurovision. Last year they were a big surprise - finishing 2nd in the Semi-Final
and 6th in the Final - much higher than they were expected to achieve.
Singer & Song
Arsenium & Natalie Loca
Arsenium is better known for his appearance in boy group O-Zone (thay had a hit with dragosta...?) in the summer.
Both are reasonable singers with pretty faces, but the song leaves much to be desired. It's unoriginal and rather annoying,
trying to find English words that don't really exist in order to make the song rhyme with the word 'Loca'. Not a great
one here, I wouldn't excpect great things at all.
Prediction
Possibly last place: 20th-24th
I wouldn't expect to see this fare to well at all in Athens. They have the worst performing position, coming up
second with an insignificant song, and what's probably going to be a rather uninspiring performance. I'd say this is
a possible canditate for 'nul points' at all.

Review of the Eurovision Performance
Though the song isn't great at all, I was pleasently surprised by the Moldovan performance on the night. Arsenium
and Natalie gave a lively performance and the many costume changes gave it that little bit of sparkle to keep us all interested.
They did what they could with the song and I think it all worked well - even the wedding dress gimmick and the bouquet of
flowers, which were an eye catching and memorable. Moldova did about as well as they could have - coming 20th is almost
more than could have been expected, I just hope they go for something better next year - after all, that wouldn't be very
hard. As more my prediction - well, 20th isn't that far from the bottom so I guess that's a close?!
