Czech Republic made the worst possible debut in 2007, finishing last with just one point.

 

 

After faring so poorly last year on their debut, it was interesting to see what the Czech Republic would come up with for Eurovision this year.  In complete contrast to last year, we’ve to endure a nice, mid tempo pop song, which doesn’t really go anywhere and remains inoffensive throughout.  I quite like it, but it’s not the kind of song that makes a big impact, and in a Semi where there are so many other songs that do instantly hit you, it’s hard to see this one standing out and improving much on last year’s result.  Nonetheless, I reckon I’ll definitely enjoy it in Belgrade, and hope they put on a good, respectable show.
