Sticking with a very contemporary and different sound, Bulgaria are sending one of this year's dance tracks. DJ
Balthazar and Deep Zone will send 'DJ, Take Me Away' to Belgrade.

A Little Bit of History...
Bulgaria started playing Eurovision in 2005, but their first effort worth talking about only happened last year, when
they entered one of the most different songs we've heard at Eurovision. 'Water' qualified with ease and finished 5th overall.

Bulgaria
have gone for something totally different and dancey again this year after having done well with something, not similar, but
hardly very different from last year.Following on from Romania’s string of success with dance tracks in the competition, it’s
good to see someone taking their place on the eastern front, and this really isn’t all that bad at all.Saying that, I don’t think it’s as good as ‘Let Me Try’ from 2005 or ‘Tornero’
from 2006, but it’s still good enough to make an impression. It’s
not often a song takes a whole third of its track to get started into the vocal, but so long as the presentation is visually
impressive while the backing track is being played, it shouldn’t be a problem. My only reservation would be the problems with the vocal, which in each live performance I’ve seen, have been
shakey and almost flat at best. This could suffer in exactly the same way ‘Vampires
Are Alive’ did last year, but as long as the vocals are polished, this should still make the Final, rather easily in
fact.
