A Little Bit of History...
In their first two years playing Eurovision, Armenia have had unprecedented success with their entries (arguably to do
with geographical location). Andre finished 8th for the country in 2006, and last year Hayko finished in the same
spot with his dreary, yet professionally performed ballad.

Armenian entries have seemed
to do well at Eurovision regardless of how good they actually are, although judging on 2 years of entries, it maybe isn’t
entirely fare to say this.In both years they’ve experienced particularly
good draws in Final (23 and 24 out of 24) and the songs were both well presented. This
year however, I don’t think I’d begrudge Armenia another top ten finish. It’s a dead cert they’re going to qualify, being both one of the best
in their semi and a well supported country. The difference this year is that
the song is much better, and already from the presentation we can see that Surisho is a polished performer, who should give
a sound vocal onstage.The song’s good – a general all rounder, being
both eastern flavoured with a modern, almost western twist, so it should appeal across the board regardless.Expect big things here, I don’t want it to win, but it’s not out of the realms of possibility.
