A Little Bit of History...
Last year saw Andorra's most successful entry in the Eurovision Song Contest since their debut in 2004. Anonymous
gained 12th place in the Semi-Final with 'Salvem El Mon', but before that their entries tended to languish in the 'deeper'
realms of the scoreboard.

Andorra have been one of
my favourite participants from they started playing Eurovision in 2004, and each year they’ve had a great song which
has always lacked a good performance, hence failure to qualify.Last year however,
they mustered up their best position yet, coming 12th in the Semi-Final – quite an achievement for such a
small country, and coming second of all the western participants must have been some consolation. This year, while not everyone likes the entry, I think Andorra have done well, selecting an experienced
performer with a great, upbeat, happy go luck pop song – totally inoffensive, and if you like pop music, it’s
wonderfully catchy. I really like it, and would surely think that given a good
performance on the night, Andorra may just see themselves in the Final, making the new
system very worthwhile.
